Goodbye 2020!

What can I say that hasn’t already been said…..2020 was full of ups, downs and craziness all around! The year rung in with a virus lurking in our communities. By March we realized this wasn’t just “a virus” but a world wide pandemic. Many of us were shut down in our homes. Real Estate was unsure of what to do and how to do what we could. Many of us became very familiar with technology in ways we didn’t even imagine. Virtual meetings with clients, virtual listings, virtual showings….virtual everything. Masks and sanitizer were common products we as agents purchased for our sellers home, instead of cookies and treats. Miraculously we saw a super surge in sales! Most sellers sold at 100%+ of listing price. Buyers took advantage of record low interest rates. And even though closings were down slightly from 2019 – over all it was a GREAT YEAR!! We closed the year with an awesome December, a indication to a roaring 2021.

I’m glad a new year is upon us. As I look ahead I’m excited to returning to a “normal” way of life. But more importantly I am looking forward to helping my clients turn their goals into a reality!
